(You’ve seen tens or hundreds of pieces attempting to make sense of what happened on the evening of Nov. 8th. This is that, but less straightforward. On Tuesday (election day!) I saw this inventive app called exit.poll, which was broadcasting a slightly-less-than-real-time video stream of people explaining who they voted for and why, and it struck me as a fascinating view of a raw data stream. (I always find nearly-raw data streams fascinating.) It was an app that appeared to be designed for one day of use, and after voting, I signed-up and added mine.
